Ghanaian Recording artiste and member of the High Grade Family, Jah Lead, has said the boss of Shatta Movement, Shatta Wale is craving to feature him on some of his songs after listening to his works.

The artiste who was speaking to Bolgatanga-based A1Radio’s Lexis Drive on whether he is open to feature the King of Dancehall said: “I hear from Shatta’s camp that they really rate my status. Shatta always talks about me that Jah Lead guy is good and his style is out of the world. I have heard him express one or two interest in my craft so people should just keep their fingers crossed.”

On the unending debate on whether or not Ghanaian Dancehall artistes produce ‘Asorkpor’, Jah lead mentioned that most of Dancehall artistes don’t do Dancehall but rather Afro pop because maybe they are not up to the task of Dancehall.

He noted that the inability of some of these Dance hall acts to produce true Dance hall songs is the reason why Jamaicans have refused to rate the songs of Ghanaians but he was, however, quick to add that there are some also in the system who are living up to the task and are doing their best to put the country on the map.

Jah Lead is currently promoting his hit single ‘So Solid’ which is enjoying massive airplay in every part of the country.
