Gospel musician Georgina Avaabo has encouraged persons with disabilities to pursue their dreams and not allow physical limitations to prevent them from achieving their goals.

Speaking on Bolga FM’s Work and Happiness Show, Ms. Avaabo, who is from the Bolgatanga East District of the Upper East Region, said determination, hard work and perseverance remain important to achieving success despite life’s challenges.

According to her, “disability is not inability,” stressing that persons with disabilities have the potential to succeed when given opportunities and when they remain committed to their aspirations.

She also encouraged young people to respect and listen to the guidance of their parents, saying parents play an important role in shaping their children’s future and helping them distinguish between right and wrong.

Ms. Avaabo particularly advised young female gospel musicians to focus on developing their talents rather than becoming distracted by the pursuit of money or fame.

She urged upcoming musicians to work hard, remain focused and consistently improve their craft, expressing confidence that financial rewards and recognition would follow with patience and dedication.

Ms. Avaabo encouraged young people, including persons with disabilities and aspiring musicians, to remain determined in pursuing their ambitions despite the challenges they may encounter.
