The New Patriotic Party has appointed 10 officers to its Upper East Regional executive team, filling positions ranging from legal and electoral affairs to research, finance and special duties.
The appointments were made by the party’s elected regional executives pursuant to Articles 9(2) and 10 of the NPP constitution, according to a statement dated Aug. 29, 2026.
The appointments take immediate effect.
Samuel Atiru has been appointed Regional Deputy Organiser, while Anyass Abubakari will serve as Regional Deputy Nasara Organiser and Ama Achumdai as Regional Deputy Women’s Organiser.
Patrick Acham has been appointed Regional Deputy Youth Organiser, with Francis Abolinga taking up the position of Regional Financial Secretary.
Francis Ayam will serve as Regional Research Officer, while Kombat Isaac Tineayi has been appointed Regional Persons with Disabilities Coordinator.
Thomas Kwalase has been appointed Regional Electoral Affairs Officer, while lawyer Mohammed T. Nambe will serve as Regional Legal Officer.
Mumuai Bsife has also been appointed Regional Special Duties Officer.
The 10 appointees are drawn from constituencies across the Upper East Region, including Navrongo Central, Bolgatanga Central, Builsa North, Builsa South, Binduri, Bolgatanga East, Tempane, Chiana-Paga and Bawku Central.
The appointments follow the party’s recent regional executive elections and form part of the constitution of its leadership team in the Upper East Region.
The Regional Secretariat congratulated the appointees and wished them success in their respective positions.
