Those who are saying there are cracks in the Minority are right because you seem not see some collective decision taken by the Minority when it comes to matters relating to them, Legal Practitioner and Member of the National Democratic Congress, Abraham Amaliba has said.

The lawyer who was speaking to A1Radio said: “I have heard people saying that there are cracks in the minority and I think they are right. You seem not to see some collective decision taken by the Minority when it comes to matters relating to them.

“The first one was Suhuyini’s case when Muntaka who is part of leadership disowned him completely and also with the bribery allegations which he is also denying knowledge of. So you will begin to wonder whether the minority is united there are cracks in the Minority,” he told host of DayBreak Upper East.

He mentioned that the party National Democratic Congress is worried about the issue and will, therefore, meet their Members of Parliament to make them aware of the fact that they are not working for their personal interest but rather the collective interest of the party.

On the bribery allegation, he called for an independent inquiry into Hon. Mahama Ayariga’s allegation of bribery to put to rest the growing perception of Parliament being corrupt.
