Chief Executive Officer of Smile Multimedia, organizers of the annual Northern Ghana Entertainment Awards (NEA) has hinted that, all is set for the 2nd edition of the award slated to take place in Tamale on the April 1, 2017.
The C.E.O of Smile Multimedia, Abdul Latif Alhassan in an exclusive interview with A1-Radio, 101.1MHz, said “… the process has so far been smooth this year than last year, because it was the first time. This year, we have been able to work on our lapses and we are set to roll”.
Talking about how prepared his outfit is for the main event, Mr. Alhassan said, so much has been done ahead of schedule and that gives them the feeling that, many of the lapses that came up last year, have been worked on.
“So far, everything is in place; we have secured the venue, sounds, lighting and other equipment that will be needed for the main event night”.
With the issue of the voting process, he outlined that, the short code for the voting is ready and sorted out, but they needed to run the process of the voting again to ensure there won’t be any problems during voting and reassured all the nominees and fans that, the short code will be made available very soon so that voting can start.
He finally urged artistes, fans and music enthusiasts alike to patronize the event this years, to encourage the growth of the music industry within the three Northern Region of the country since it is the only prestigious award scheme within the Northern part of the country.
