Bolga All Stars registered their first win of the season as they beat Bechem United at the Tamale Utrecht Park. Goals from Hafiz Konkoni and Maxwell Frimpong secured them the needed three points whiles Eric Owusu got the consolation goal for Bechem United.
Bismark Oppong and Douglas Opoku scored for Medeama and Olympics respectively as the two teams shared spoils at the Takwa T&A Park.
At the Dansoman Carl Reindorff Park, Liberty Professional drew goalless with WA All Stars.
At the Ndoum Park in Elmina, Tetteh Nortey handed Elmina Sharks all three points after scoring the only goal of the match in their 1-0 victory over Ashanti Gold.
Aduana Stars suffered their first defeat of the season after losing 1-2 to Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Stadium. Nicholas Gyan was once again on the score sheet for Dwarfs with Osman Mohammed getting the other for the home side. Tanko Mohammed was on target for Aduana Stars.
WAFA moved up to occupy the 7th spot after beating Berekum Chelsea 2-0 at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope. Emmanuel Boateng and Komla Agbeniadan got the goals for WAFA.
At the Accra sports stadium, Accra Hearts of Oak pipped Kumasi Asante Kotoko to carry the day after the game almost ended barren. A well-converted penalty kick by Vincent Atingah produced the only goal in the game.
