Newly appointed Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah arrived at the K0t0ka International Airport on Friday to a rousing welcome ahead of his unveiling on April 26 at the Alisa Hotel.
The former national defender was met on arrival by officials of the Ghana Football Association, lots of journalists and supporter groups amidst of dancing and drumming.
The Kotoko legend has agreed a two-year deal to replace Avram Grant as new boss in principle and he is in Ghana to finalize the contractual agreement.
It is a second stint in charge for Appiah, who led the Black Stars from 2012 until 2014.
Since leaving the Black Stars following a poor World Cup campaign, he has been coaching Sudanese side Al Khartoum.
