Information gathered by a1radioonline.com indicates that the Yapei and Buipe bridges will be opened to traffic from Friday, December 22, 2017. The two bridges were closed to traffic for repair works and that affected vehicular and human movement.
It took engineers exactly four weeks to complete work on the two bridges which is estimated at GH¢4 million.
The Buipe and the Yapei bridges serve important purposes for the nation as it links the north to the south of Ghana and also serves as an international road for neighbouring Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger and Côte D’ Ivoire to Ghana.
