Chief Executive Officer for Bolgatanga-based FC Tanga, Miss Humul Khrusum Tahiru has been elected to serve on the Division one league board as the representative of  zone one.

Miss Khrusum will serve alongside Berlin FC’s Techie Arhin as representatives of the teams that make up the zone one.

Other members of the Board include Owoahene Acheampong who is the chairman of the board and Mr. Osei Agyemang who is the Vice Chairman for the board.

Stephen Appiah  of Achiken FC and James Nunu of Proud FC  will represent zone two teams whereas Martin Asare of Istanbul FC and Eugene Nobel of King Solomon represent zone three clubs.

When contacted on her election as a board member, the bubbly football administrator mentioned that she was very elated by the fact that the delegates banked their hopes in her to represent the zone which comprises teams that make up the Northern sector.

She indicated that it was a great achievement for football to have her sail through adding that she was very hopeful of not letting down delegates who reposed their trust in her.

FC Tanga’s CEO did not downplay the fact that her new position comes with several challenges but was very optimistic that with the help of other members and the entire Division one body, her tenure will cause a revolution in the league.

“I am elated that I have been voted to represent on the board. This is a new challenge and I am hoping to learn more and also put in more effort at making the league an interesting one. There will be challenges but with the help of Allah and the whole division one team, I hope we will cause a positive change in the game.”
