The management of celebrated Ghanaian folk musician, David Nbabila Atamina, professionally known as Prof. Atamina, has officially launched his long-awaited studio album titled Nɛrisaala Gane Poison, fulfilling the musician’s final wish as he continues his eternal rest.
Speaking on the Buuri Malema show hosted by Moses Apiah on Bolga FM, the Manager, Nmabia Avalum, revealed that the decision to launch the album before Prof. Atamina’s final funeral rites was deeply influenced by the musician’s own instructions while on his sickbed.

According to him, Prof. Atamina repeatedly reminded the team to ensure that his music reached the world—even if “God calls him home.”
“The wisdom in these songs and the passion he had for his craft made it necessary for us to release the album now,” Avalum explained. “This launch is not just a musical event, but a preservation of his powerful legacy.”
The launch attracted massive support from chiefs and cultural leaders, musicians under FAREMA, media practitioners, family, friends, and fans from across the country. Their presence turned the event into an emotional celebration of the life and artistry of a man whose kologo music inspired generations.
In a statement, the management extended heartfelt appreciation:
“We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported and joined us in celebrating the successful launch of the Nɛrisaala Gane Poison studio album of our beloved Prof. Atamina. Your love and support have ensured that his legacy continues to shine. Thank you for amplifying his voice and honoring a son whose music will forever speak for generations.”
