The Member of Parliament for the Builsa South Constituency, Dr. Clement Apaak, has officially activated the 2025 edition of the Builsa South Students Support Programme.
This annual initiative, a cornerstone of the MP’s commitment to human capital development, is designed to provide critical financial relief to tertiary students from the constituency, easing the growing cost burden of higher education.
In a formal statement released on Tuesday, Dr. Apaak’s office announced the opening of applications for the upcoming academic year. The programme targets students enrolled in institutions accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC), offering direct support to help cover educational expenses.
To qualify, applicants must meet five eligibility criteria. They must be natives of the Builsa South Constituency, be duly enrolled in a GTEC-accredited tertiary institution, and submit a certified copy of a valid national ID card. Applicants must also provide an official admission letter and a current student identification card.
The Selection Committee has identified priority groups for special consideration, including brilliant but financially challenged students, students living with disabilities, and the girl-child, reflecting the programme’s focus on equity and inclusion.
The application period is strictly limited to two weeks, from December 15 to December 30, 2025. All applications must be submitted physically to the Selection Committee at the Builsa South Constituency Office within this period.
Dr. Apaak’s office emphasized that applications received after December 30, 2025, will not be considered.
Students seeking further information or clarification are advised to contact the constituency office through the following numbers: 0543852965, 0207527145, or 0240084634.
With the launch of the 2025 programme, Dr. Apaak has reaffirmed his commitment to advancing education and investing in the future leadership of Builsa South, encouraging all eligible students to apply promptly.
