He also commended the Ghana Police Service, election officials, the Electoral Committee, and members of the media for their roles in ensuring a peaceful, transparent, and credible election.

“I am deeply humbled by the confidence the delegates have placed in me. I sincerely thank every delegate who participated in this election, as well as my fellow contestants for conducting themselves in a peaceful and democratic manner. I also wish to express my appreciation to the Ghana Police Service, the Electoral Committee, election officials, and the media for helping to ensure a transparent and violence-free process. The contest is over, and now the real work begins.”

He called on candidates who were unsuccessful to remain committed to the party, stressing that unity would be key to rebuilding the constituency.

“There are no winners or losers in today’s election because the NPP remains the ultimate winner. I urge every member, including those who were not successful, to join hands with the new leadership. We are one family, and together we will strengthen the party in Bolgatanga East, reclaim the parliamentary seat, and contribute meaningfully to the NPP’s victory in the 2028 general elections.”

The re-elected Constituency Secretary, Bismark Akolgo Jospa, acknowledged that the party had faced organisational challenges in recent years but expressed confidence that the newly elected executives would work collectively to restore unity and strengthen the party’s structures.

“We recognise that the constituency has gone through difficult moments over the past few years, but this election marks the beginning of a new chapter. Our priority is to rebuild trust, strengthen our grassroots structures, and ensure that every member feels included in the affairs of the party.”

Mr. Jospa said the executive would focus on effective organisation, membership mobilisation, and collaboration across all levels of the party.

“I will work closely with the Chairman and every member of the executive team to promote unity among both the youth and the elderly, address the concerns of our members, and build a stronger constituency capable of winning future elections. We appeal to everyone to support the new leadership because our common objective is the progress and success of the NPP in Bolgatanga East.”

The election concluded peacefully without any reported incidents, with party faithful expressing optimism that the newly elected executives would provide effective leadership and adequately prepare the constituency for the 2028 general elections.
