Madam Veronica Atiah Aboyoo has been re-elected as the Women’s Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bongo Constituency following the party’s constituency executive elections.
Her victory comes after a campaign in which she expressed confidence that delegates would renew her mandate based on her hard work, dedication, and commitment during her four-year tenure as Women’s Organizer.
Throughout her campaign, Madam Aboyoo highlighted her efforts in mobilising women, strengthening the party’s Women’s Wing, and encouraging greater participation in party activities across the constituency.
She said her focus over the last four years had been on building the capacity of women in the party and ensuring their voices were heard at all levels of decision-making.
Following her victory, Madam Aboyoo expressed gratitude to delegates for the confidence reposed in her.
She pledged to continue working to strengthen the Women’s Wing and advance the party’s interests in Bongo.
Madam Aboyoo also appealed to all party members, especially women, to remain united and actively participate in party activities as the NPP prepares for the 2028 general elections.
She further called on all aspirants, both winners and those who were unsuccessful, to put the elections behind them and work together in the interest of the party.
“Unity, hard work, and collective commitment among members will be key to rebuilding the party and securing victory in the 2028 general elections,” she said.
Madam Aboyoo reaffirmed her commitment to serving all members of the Women’s Wing and working closely with the newly elected constituency executives to strengthen the party and promote unity across the Bongo Constituency.
Party members say her retention is expected to bring continuity and stability to the Women’s Wing as the NPP reorganises at the grassroots level.
