Highlife Artiste, Kofi Nti has said he is grateful that Ofori Amponsah has realized his mistakes and has come back to music which is his passion.
Ofori Amponsah, known popularly as Pastor Alewa hanged his boots in music because he was ‘called’ by God to work for him. However, his call did not last as he made u-turn to highlife music and have since produced several hit songs.
But speaking to Kofi Asante on Bolgatanga-based A1 Radio, the highlife musician said “I thank God for bringing Ofori Amponsah back to music. He is a gem but saying that he was not going to do music again because it is worldly was not a very good idea”.
Kofi indicated that although Ofori Amponsah showed signs for the love for God, he was disappointed that the music gem left highlife which is not profane but preaches love, tolerance and the need for unity.
Kofi Nti who has been off the music scene mentioned that he has been off the music scene to have a rethink of his style and come out big.
He is currently promoting his single choices which features Paa Kwesi formerly of ‘Dobble’ fame.
