Reggae and Dancehall artiste, Kamelyeon has described Shatt Wale as a selfish and an ungrateful artiste who has failed to help people who took him out of the dark and brought him to the limelight.
According to him, he had an agreement with Shatta Wale while the artiste (Shatta Wale) was still struggling to break into the music industry that he would assist him when he is able to make it to the top but Shatt Wale forgot about their agreement immediately he made it in the industry.
Kamelyeon who was speaking to A1 Radio’s Lexis on the station’s evening drive show, Sunset Drive said “When Shatta Wale was struggling in the ghetto, I was with him and we did everything together with the hope that one day when he becomes a star, he will drag me along but that has not been the case. Shatta Wale after making it has denied me and many others who helped him while in was suffering.”
When asked what roles he played in Shatta Wale’s success story, he indicated that he played key roles in the Shatta Wale, Samini ‘beef’ that got Shatta Wale the needed attention. He said he used his influence in his community to amass great following for Shatta Wale but said he was disappointed in the Dancehall King for the treatment he meted out to him and other people who helped his career.
Kamelyeon said regardless of the treatment by Shatta Wale, he is grateful to God that Shatta Wale is doing very well in the industry.
