Former President of Ghana, John Dramni Mahama has sent a tribute to the Kumasi Asante Kotoko team and has asked for prayers for the team.
Kotoko players and officials were involved in an accident at Nkawkaw while on their way from Accra to Kumasi after been piped by Inter Allies in a midweek fixture.
One official of the team, Mr. George Asare Is reported dead whiles the captain of the team, Amos Frimpong and other players have sustained several degrees of injuries.
The former President in a post on Facebook said “Let’s remember Asante Kotoko S.C in our prayers”.
