Bolgatanga-based rapper, Don Max has outlined three major challenges facing the music industry in the Upper East Region.
In an interview with A1 Radio’s ‘The Profiler’ team, Don Max said the music industry in Upper East is facing challenges with production and promotion.
He added that investors have also not seen the need to invest in the art of artistes in the region.
On the issue of promotion, he indicated that the limited radio stations and the lack of a TV station in the region is not favouring the industry.
He, however, indicated that social media is helping them to publicize their visuals and brands to markets both inside and outside the region.
Although the Upper East Music industry has talents, the industry’s growth is moving at a tortoise pace and has been a very worrying issue for industry players.
