Youth Organiser for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku has warned his colleagues occupying public offices to eschew all sort of arrogance and disregard of authority and the people of Ghana.
According to him, these were the things that sent the NDC to a disgraceful opposition through a historic defeat in the 2016 election.
Mr. Awuku who was speaking on Accra-based Adom TV said “the NDC was sent to opposition because of the arrogance of the various appointees. They were arrogant and they disrespected everybody.
“For example, Felix Ofosu Kwakye could run down just anybody including accomplished people in our societies just because he was occupying a political position”.
He advised his colleagues to stay away from such acts that will turn the public against the NPP and show respect to all manner of people.
He warned against the public show of opulence and advised against any act of corruption while they occupy public offices.
Sammy Awuku is currently eyeing the National Organiser position of the New Patriotic Party.
