Musician, Blakk Rasta has disclosed that he is ready to help any Northern artiste who will approach him for assistance.
According to him, Northern Ghana is noted as the poorest in the country and it is only through music that the regions can lift themselves up from their current states and there was therefore the need to assist since he has been able to rise through the ranks.
“The North is deprived and I believe that music has the edge to push the region from its current state so I will do all in my position to assist any artiste who seeks for my assistance in whatever way,” he told A1 Radio News.
He, however, advised the current crop of artistes from the three Northern regions to uphold their culture in whatever they do because it plays a contributory role in their growth and influence as musicians.
He indicated that without the culture but in their music, they may lose the following they enjoy currently because the people will be unable to relate with their songs.
