Upper East region’s gospel sensation, Florence Adooni, has been nominated for the best traditional song in the maiden edition of the National Gospel Music Awards.
Her song, ‘Nyam Deke Nsure’ won her a spot in the maiden edition of the awards scheme which has been instituted to acknowledge the work of gospel artistes in Ghana.
Florence is competing in the same category with names such as SP Kofi Sarpong, Kwadwo Nkansah, Nicholas Omane Acheampong, Brother Sammy, Mary Agyemang and ABC.
Speaking to a1radioonline.com, Florence indicated that she is delighted to have been nominated alongside some great names in the gospel industry.
According to her, it is a sign that there are greater things to happen in the future and God has plans to set her on high in the gospel industry.
She used the opportunity to thank the organizers of the awards scheme and called on her followers and the general public to vote for her to emerge the winner in that category.
