According to Mr. Amiyuure, government will soon restore all allowances due teachers to improve their lives.

Mr. Amiyuure announced this today during his visits to some selected schools in Bolgatanga West B circuit on a commemoration of ‘my first day at school’.

The MCE admonished teachers to exhibit professionalism in the upbringing of the pupils.

On government’s flagship program ‘free SHS’ Mr. Amiyuure advised the pupils to put out their best both in and outside the classroom in order to enjoy years to come.

The schools visited included Azorebisi primary, Asoegoom primary, Sumbrungu Aguusi primary and Taampurum Kunkua primary.

Some headteachers of these schools used the opportunity to appeal to government for the provision of classrooms and inclusion in the Ghana School Feeding Program.
