Some irate students of Dr. Bemish Junior High School in Axim in the Nzema East of the Western region whose papers have been cancelled by WAEC have stormed their former school with eggs and invoked curses on teachers.
According to the BECE candidates, they believe their former teachers are the reason their results English language paper were cancelled.
Some “When we heard the results were in, I went to check and I realized English Language was not part so I attempted suicide but fortunately my uncle saw me and took it away from me. We want to go to school. It’s very depressing to see your mates going to school while you sit at home because someone has decided to withhold our results. We can’t even eat nor sleep…”one of the worried student lamented.
“If by the end of September I don’t see my English result, I will kill myself…” student threatened.
