The President is in the Upper East region for a two-day visit to the region.
He arrived in the region on Wednesday, October 4 and addressed a gathering of Chiefs, clergy, Tindanas and the general public.
The President assured the gathering that he is going to ensure that all the money that is mobilised by government is spent in dealing with the issues that concern the people, and that they do not find their way into his pocket or the pocket of his ministers.
While in the region, he is expected to inspect ongoing projects including the progress of work on the Bolgatanga-Bawku.
