Boxer Bukom Banku has said he was spurred on to continue bleaching because “my head got swollen anytime I was addressed as Banku Fresh”.
He made this disclosure in an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat on Accra-based Starr FM.
Bukom Banku who previously said he bleached because he wanted an ambassadorial appointment from the then President, John Dramani Mahama said he was inspired to bleach by music legends including Ghana’s own Daddy Lumba and Michael Jackson.
