The Vice President has left Ghana for the United Kingdom on a sick leave a1radioonline.com can report.
A statement from the Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare said he left the country on Friday, January 19 after his doctors advised that he takes a sick leave.
The statement said he left in the company of the Second Lady.
Earlier, Director of Communications, Eugene Arhin issued a disclaimer that he had not authored any statement to suggest that the Vice President had flown out of the country.
He said “Disclaimer: I have not authored or issued any statement indicating that the Vice President has travelled to the UK. It’s fake. Thank you”.
