Bongo DCE Nominee Gets 100% Endorsement by Assembly Members

All fifty-two members of the Bongo District Assembly on Monday voted unanimously to confirm the president’s nominee, Alexis Ayamdor Adugdaa as District Chief Executive for Bongo.

Before voting commenced, Upper East Regional Minister Alhaji Limuna Mohammed-Muniru called on members of the assembly to put political party differences behind them and vote massively for the then nominee, to pave way for the development of the district. The regional Minister later tasked the newly sworn-in DCE for Bongo to have a listening ear and be prepared to work together with the people of Bongo in order to bring development to the area.

Upper West Regional Minister, Dr. Ephraim Avea Nsoh who is also a native of the Bongo District graced the occasion. Dr. Nsoh emphasized the need for the people of Bongo to support Mr. Ayamdor to bring development to the area.

The Member of Parliament for Bongo, Albert Abongo was also present at the occasion. He called for collective collaboration for the betterment of the Bongo District.

The newly sworn-in District Chief Executive for Bongo, Alexis Ayamdor Adugdaa after he was sworn into office called for support from everyone in the District to ensure that the district sees development.

 Alexis Ayamdor Adugdaa was the assembly member for the Zorko-Kanga electoral area and presiding member for the Bongo district until he was sworn-in as District Chief Executive.
