The former President of Ghana has described the late K B Asante as “a fountain of wisdom from which we all drunk freely is shut”.
According to him, the late statesman’s experience “straddled our early pre and post-independence era and his death is a great loss to the country.
KB Asante died yesterday at age ninety-three years.
He was the Secretary to Ghana’s First President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Asante also served under most Heads of States in Ghana, starting from Nkrumah, and also served as the Principal Secretary at African Affairs Secretariat from 1960 to 1966.
