The Minority in Parliament has expressed worry over government’s delay in declaring the fate of the two ex-Guantanamo Bay detainees currently residing in the country.
According to the Minority, the government has breached the constitution by failing to communicate it’s decision on the two ex-detainees.
The President during the “Encounter with the Media” said the government is yet to reach a decision and will communicate to Parliament when the august house resumes sitting.
Parliament resumed sitting yesterday and have captured it in its agenda.
The Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu, worried over the issue drew the Speaker’s attention to it on the floor, Tuesday, demanding immediate action from government.
