Charger Limited; producers of Happy Man Bitters have said their company has not organized a football tournament neither has it contracted any individual or institution to organise a football tournament in the Talensi District in the Upper East region.
There were reports that Charger Limited was organising a football competition in Talensi. Communities that had registered to take part in the competition have been charged five hundred cedis each.
But a statement from Charger Limited said: “The Management of Charger Limited wants to place on record that it has not organized a football tournament in the Talensi District neither has it contracted any organization to organize a tournament on its behalf”.
The statement further said “Charger Limited deems the supposed “organisers” of the competition as fraudulent and urge communities that have been swindled by these fraudulent people to chase them for their monies”.
