Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga East ,Dr. Dominic Ayine, has given a strong indication that he would chase after the criminal investigations department of Ghana Police Service and Media houses who have subjected his person to public ridicule.

Publications by some media houses have it that, 25 former appointees of the John Dramani Mahama’s administration had stolen state money by taking double salaries which is in contravention with article 71 of office holders.

The names of the alleged MPs were published including that of Dr. Dominic Ayine, who served as a former Deputy Attorney General in the past governmnet.

A letter from the CID was later issued to 18 of the accused persons apologizing for mistaken claims. The number of alleged culprits has since been reduced to seven.

But in a strong response to the issue on Day-Break Upper East with Samuel Mbura on A1 Radio, Dr. Ayine said though he was part of MPs recused from the allegations with an apology, the damage caused to his person is not repairable.

He therefore intends to seek justice in court.
