Host of Day Break Upper East on A1 Radio, Samuel Mbura, has descended angrily on authorities of the African World Airline (AWA) for reportedly disembarking a physically challenged woman from one of their flight.

It was recently reported that workers of the Airline refused to allow a physically challenged woman board one of their flights at the Kotoka International Airport on grounds that it was against company regulations.

The actions of the airline company did not go down well with a section of Ghanaians and have received wide condemnation from the general public with many describing it a discriminatory act.

Mr. Mbura who forms part of the many who are not pleased with the actions of the company is calling on the Aviation Ministry to launch investigations into the issue and apply necessary actions against the company.

He said the company’s failure to issue a communiqué on the incent amounts to great disrespect for persons with disability and has also called on leaders from the disability fraternity to seek justice for one of their own who has been unfairly treated.
