Professor Joshua Alabi has given a clear indication of winning the primaries to become the National Democratic Congress’ flag bearer ahead of the 2020 saying his victory will be “a thriller in the history of our great party( NDC)”.
A statement from his office indicated that he is resolute in his stance to contest for the position.
The statement said “I have scanned through some of the discussions concerning my participation in our flag bearer contest, and wish to assure all that I still stand by my decision to contest should our party open nominations this year. I admit it would require hard work, commitment and selflessness but what I know is that the Good Lord is in the center of our campaign and we are surely going to win the primaries. It would be a thriller in the history of our great party( NDC)”.
The former Vice Chancellor of the University for Professional Studies will face off with Alban Bagbin, Sylvester Mensah, Ekow Spio Garbrah and former President Mahama who has said that he will not disappoint party faithful on calls for him to come back as the flag bearer of the party.
