Journalist breaks his own vow, drops Shatta’s ‘Taking Over’ to mock Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Host of Day Break Upper East on A1 Radio, Samuel Mbura, broke his own vow Thurday morning when he played Shatta Wale’s popuplar hit single ‘Taking Over’ on his show to make mockery of embattled Ghana Football Association (GFA) president, Kwesi Nyantakyi.

Mr. Mbura in April this year vowed to never play any of the self-acclaimed dancehall artiste works on his morning show following Shatta Wale’s incessant attacks on the disability of genre mate and fierce rival, stonebwoy.

But in a surprising twist Thursday morning, the outspoken Journo shocked his many followers and listeners when he played the ‘ Taking over’ track, proving earlier posts on his social media handles telling listeners what to expect.

The “presdo” of the nation’s football association was caught, in a corruption investigative film by ace journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas in partnership with the BBC, saying “if you pay this, Bawumia Becomes president…we would take over this country”.

Prior to the big premiering of the investigative piece at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) on Wednesday, released snippets of the film capturing Kwesi Nyantakyi comments with shatta’s ‘Taking Over’ as background music, had gone viral.

His comments have since become the talk of town and a pattern in many conversations in the country, with several people using them to make mockery of him.

Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi was also alleged to have said that he has the President in his pockets.

Meanwhile,  information gather by A1radioonline.com indicates that headline sponsors for the Ghana Premier League say they may pull out of the contract with the association if officials are found guilty in an ongoing investigation.

This was announced by Zylofon Cash Public relations officer Halifax Owusu-Ansa.

He has warned Ghana Football Association to clear themselves or risk their lucrative ten-year deal scrapped.
