Charger Limited; producers of Happy Man Bitters have announced the third edition of the Happy Man Bitters Inter-Community Soccer competition.
The competition which is in its third year is the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility to the people of Kasena Nankana Municipal and Kasena Nankana west district in the Upper East region.
The month long competition seeks to promote talents in the beautiful game of football and also support grass root teams in the Kasena Nankana Municipal and Kasena Nankana west district in the Upper East region.
Chief Executive Officer of Charger Limited, Emmanuel Bortey Borketey who spoke to a1radioonline.com noted that colts football which used to groom talents for various teams in Ghana is currently dead and therefore HAMISOC will provide that needed platform to groom talents.
He noted that HAMISOC in its third year can boast of producing Paga Crocodile stars which is currently in the Division One league and also Pungu Stars which is currently in the Division three league. (Both teams are winners of first and second edition of the competition).
He added that since the world is celebrating world football this year, the third edition which is earmarked to start on July 28 has been dubbed “The World Cup Edition” and it comes with surprises for participating teams.
This year, there will be football scouts to select some of the best talents from the various teams to help them build their football careers.
