Bolgatanga East District to get new Office Complex

Bolgatanga Municipal Chief Executive, Joseph Amiyuure on Wednesday cut sod for the construction of an office complex for the Bolgatanga East District Assembly at Zuarungu, the district capital.

Bolgatanga East district was early this year, calved out of Bolgatanga Municipal Assembly under Legislative Instrument 2350 and subsequently inaugurated in March 2018.

It has been operating under a severe accommodation challenge, hence the sod cutting to get the Assembly a befitting office accommodation.

The project has been awarded to Massim Construction Limited and it’s expected to be completed in 12 months at a cost of GHc 2,300,000.00. The Contractor has assured that, his Company will execute a quality project and will be completed as expected.

The District Chief Executive of Bolgatanga East District, Prof. Emmanuel Abugre Abole was happy with the progress made by the Assembly and called on the people of the new District to unite to develop the area.

He was very hopeful that the Assembly Office Complex will be completed as expected and will provide office accommodation for all decentralized offices and others under the Assembly for effective administrative work.

He assured the gathering at the sod cutting ceremony that, government is committed to developing the new district and urged them and others to pay their levies.
