Charger Limited, producer of Happy Man Bitters is among a list of Ghanaian companies to be honored at this year’s Made-in-Ghana Awards, slated for Friday August 30, 2019.

The award scheme instituted by Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana is aimed at encouraging local producers to work harder and be more innovative to serve their customers with world class products and services.

This year’s event will be held at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra.

A letter to Charger Limited, which was sighted by A1radioonline.com said the board of the awards scheme will award the company’s finest and most consumed product, Happy Man Bitters as the “Most Promising Herbal Bitters of the Year” for the year 2018.

The awards scheme is also a campaign to promote, advertise and market quality locally manufactured products, industry personalities, distributors and service industries in Ghana, in an effort to encourage all players in the industry to work in line with best local and international standards to produce and deliver the best products.

The Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana believes that, once Ghanaians accept local products as good and best and decide to increase their patronage of local products, they will be contributing to reduce the rate of depreciation of the Ghana Cedi against the U.S Dollar.

The Made-In-Ghana Awards Products of the Year assessment criteria is based on six parameters being, Superior Quality, Product Labeling, Product Packaging, Product Competitiveness, Product Innovation and Product Standard Certification.

Aside all these the business/products to be awarded must be registered and operating in the manufacturing industry in Ghana.
