NPP suspends two communicators over “unhealthy” comments

The New Patriotic Party in the Upper East Region has suspended two of its Regional Communications Team members over some supposed “unpalatable” comment they made in separate radio discussions.

The affected persons are Johnson Ayine, the Deputy Regional Communications Director of the NPP and Wilson Dabou a Communication member.

The decision was taken after the Regional Executives met on 19th July, 2019 to look into the conduct of the two party members and they were found to have misconducted themselves during their discussions on A1 Radio’s programme, “Daybreak Upper East”.

The party has asked other members of the Regional Communications Team to be circumspect when they represent the party on radio and other media interviews, so as to avoid similar sanctions.

SUSPENSION
The New Patriotic Party in the Upper East Region has suspended two of its Regional communications team members, Mr Johnson Ayine and Mr Wilson Dabou respectively.

The decision was taken after the Regional Executives met on 19th July, 2019 to look into their conduct and they found to have misconducted themselves during a talk show at A1 Radio on a program “Day break Upper East”.

The party wishes to caution all its members of the Regional communications team to be circumspect at all levels of representing the party to avoid similar sanction.

By this statement Mr Johnson Ayine and Mr Wilson Dabou will no longer represent the party at various media houses, so all should take note. Thank you!
