District Chief Executive for Bongo in the Upper East Region, Peter Ayinbisa has appealed to the Regional Executive of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to reinstate two party communicators who were recently suspended for misconduct.

The Deputy Regional Communications Director of NPP, Johnson Ayine has been suspended together with Wilson Dabou for sharing divergent views on ‘Daybreak Upper East’ show on A1 Radio about the appointment of former Maritime Authority`s Boss to the Ghana Revenue Authority and criticizing the Deputy Regional Minister who doubles as the Member of Parliament for Zebila Constituency, Frank Fuseini Adongo for performing abysmally in office.

The comments were not taken likely by the regional executives leading to their suspension on grounds of misconduct.

But the DCE for Bongo, Peter Ayinbisa has appealed to the Regional Executives to temper mercy with justice and rescind the decision for the interest of the party. He holds the view that reprimanding the two Communicators would have been appropriate than the highhanded indefinite suspension slapped on them.

“I want to appeal to the Regional Chairman and Executives to consider calling Johnson and Wilson back as soon as possible. In administration, you must build a dossier before you can sack or suspend or dismiss somebody, we have never heard that Johnson or this man have been reprimanded. Let us reprimand them in-house, let us talk to them in-house, see whether they will come and apologize or not. But as I’m aware, that has not been done..Yes they were given opportunity, they were called to a meeting but that was not enough” he said on Daybreak Upper East, Wednesday
