The Upper East Regional Manager of Feeder Roads and Highways, Philip Samini has said he will not update the people of Upper East Region on the current state of the much talked about Bolgatanga-Bawku road.

According to Mr. Samini any media outlet which is interested in any information from his outfit on the Bolgatanga-Bawku road, must come to his office before he will grant any audience to the public.

He said this in an angry tone when he was contacted on Monday by the Producer of Daybreak Upper East on A1 Radio Ngamegbulam Chidozie Stephen.

When the Producer of the programme first placed a call to the Engineer in the morning, he responded with a shout “I am still sleeping, am on bed ehee, why are you calling me”. He questioned?

Despite the explanation given for him to address the public on the state of the road which has been halted and has heightened tension in the region, he was still not read to talk.

He said: “You should have told me you were going to put me on, I will not talk to you, call the consultant” and hanged the call.
