Police arrests a ‘soldier’ and others over the killing of police woman

Police in the Northern Region has arrested a self-acclaimed soldier and four other persons suspected to be connected to the killing General Corporal Agartha Nana Nabin, who until her death was stationed at the Northern Regional Police Headquarters.

The suspects were arrested following a timely tip-off, which led to the arrest of one of the suspects who had sustained deep wounds believed to have been caused by gun shots.

Upon interrogations the “wounded lion” allegedly confessed his sins and mentioned the names of his accomplice, leading to their arrest in the Northern Region.

Meanwhile the two Police weapons that were taken away on the day of the killing, have been retrieved, as well as some other accouterments used in their operations, including the military camouflage and masks found in a room where one of the suspects was arrested.

On Tuesday July 30, news broke over the killing of a police woman, at a police check point on the Kumbungu road near a Star Oil Filling Station.
