Mike Zuri predicts 80 percent win in NPP primaries

A parliamentary aspirant in the Nabdam Constituency of Upper East Region, Mike Zuri has predicted to garner 80 percent votes of delegates who will cast their votes to elect a parliamentary candidate for the NPP on the September 28, 2019.

Mr. Zuri is in the race in the constituency with Boniface Gambila and Yen Sapak.

After submitting his nomination forms at the party’s constituency office where he was flanked by cheerful party members, Mr. Zuri said he is determined to beat the two other contenders and subsequently win the parliamentary seat with 3000 votes.

“We are wrestling the seat from the incompetent NDC MP who talk big and he is doing little. I will work day and night to make sure we beat Nawaane over 3000 votes and the primaries, I am determined to win 80 percent of the votes”.

A supporter, Benjamin Tenga Naab speaking to A1 News said Mike Zuri has a vision for Nabdam and he has demonstrated it before, “that is why 50 percent of the people present who are NDC [supporters] said unless Mike Zuri comes out to contest, NPP will never get their support”.

An unwavering female supporter, Taraana Hannah pledged to embark on a door to door campaign to ensure Mike Zuri wins the primaries and subsequently unseat the NDC MP in order “to go to parliament and bring development in Nabdam, as well help the youth to go school and assisting the women”.
