The Coalition against the compilation of a new voters’ register has embarked on picketing exercise at the premises of the Electoral Commission in the Upper East Region which is supposed to be simultaneous across the 15 districts.
It is part of the strategies to compel the Electoral Commission of Ghana to rescind its decision of compiling a new voters’ register as proposed.
Similar exercises have been replicated in some regions in the country . The Picketing and demonstration has however, not recorded any incident of violence.
