NPP is a money making machine-Pusiga MP

NDC Member of Parliament for Pusiga Constituency in the Upper East Region, Hajia Laadi Ayamba is accusing the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) of trying every possible means to make money from the citizenry.

The MP who was addressing TEIN members of Pusiga Teachers Training College said,the NPP was using projects and policies as a decoy to “defraud” the country. She cited policies the One Village , One Dam and other projects as classical examples of money making ventures.

“Do not be surprised that there are a lot of corruption, is for those who do not know, but most who know, we are not surprised. Because that is a money making party. They will come out with lies and all the things they can say to win our people, especially those who do not know them to come out and vote for them. And by the votes of these guys, they will come up as the head without having any knowledge of how to govern and by the end of the day, the will come with unfulfilled promises”

Hon. Ayamba claimed that as an MP ,she has not seen the impact of government’s One Million per Constituency in her area as being trumpeted across the country by proponents of government and described the initiative as a “scam”.

“as an MP I am a Member of Parliament for Pusiga, I have never ever heard of any 1 million Dollars per Constituency for that matter in Pusiga Constituency”

“I have not seen any project in Pusiga that a we see is rather a pothole and manhole” She claimed

The MP has also accused government of disrespecting the teaching profession with the introduction of a compulsory national service and Licensure exams . She stressed that the NDC and John Dramani Mahama will scrap them when elected.

Meanwhile,Deputy Upper East Regional Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Abraham Lambon admonished the youth to join the train in kicking out the NPP government.
