All is set for the election and acclamation of District Football Association (DFA)Chairpersons in the Upper East Region.
The DFA is a decentralized unit of the Ghana Football Association (GFA)which is mandated to superintend over activities of sports at the District levels and report same to the GFA.
Out of a total of 271 candidates from across the country who submitted applications to vie for various positions, 269 were declared as qualified by the Elections Committee.
In the Upper East Region, issues of legal actions or petitions have not been witnessed and the election is expected to be successful.
Some aspirants who spoke to Humul Khrusum Tahiru on ‘What’s the Score’ A1 Radio expressed their readiness for the contest and pledged to accept the outcomes of the delegates make their decision through the voting.
Meanwhile,some districts are to witness acclamation because the aspirants are going unopposed.
