2020 ELECTIONS: THIS IS WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF ANY MISHAPS AT YOUR POLLING STATION

Police in the Upper East Region has indicated that this year’s general election is expected to be a peaceful one.

Speaking this morning on A1 Radio in line with the ongoing 2020 elections, Public Relations Officer of the Upper East Regional Police Command, ASP David Fianko Okyere, said personnel of the various security services have been deployed to ensure order in the voting exercise.

In case of any mishaps relative to the election process, ASP Fianko urged the public to exercise restraint and allow the security personnel designated to the polling centers to handle the matter.

Additionally, he made available the following police emergency lines to be contacted for security intervention if the need be.

For people in the Upper East Region, the numbers to contact are 0291213844 and 0291208830.

Other numbers he announced included 18555 and 191.
