2020 ELECTION: WIDOW OF LATE PC INSPECTS ONGOING POLLS AT TEMPANE; WATCH VIDEO

Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Tempani constituency in the Upper East Region, Lydia Akanvariba Adakudugu, is visiting some polling stations in the constituency to inspect the ongoing election process.

Madam Lydia who replaced her late husband, the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the area, David Adakudugu, arrived at the Basunde Polling Station at about 9am.

With the selection of Madam Lydia, NPP’s Joseph Dindiok Kpemka who is the incumbent Member of Parliament for the area is up for a fierce contest for the seat.

While Mr Kpemka will be seeking to retain the seat for the NPP, Madam Lydia will attempt to wrest the seat back for the NDC.
