NAWAANE RETAINS NABDAM SEATS AS MP

Member of Parliament (MP) for the Nabdam Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Mark Kurt Nawwane, has retain his seat in this year’s parliamentary election.

After collating results from all 51 polling stations in the constituency, Dr. Nawaane garnered 10, 842 of the total valid vote cast to beat his main contender, Boniface Gambila of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who got 7, 924.

In the presidential polls, NPP’s Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo got 7, 421 while John Dramani Mahama of the NDC had 10,675.

GUM had 75, APC 14, PPP 9, PNC 31 and NDP got 12 votes.

CPP polled 25, GCPP 9, GFP 9, LGP 24 and Independent candidate had 19 votes.
