An aspiring Council of State member in Northern Region, Chief Col. (rtd) Mahamoud Tahiru has said be stands tall among his colleague aspirants, looking at the qualities that define a true leader.
He said he is a man with 32 years experience as security person, and has traveled across the continent, and when elected, will advise the president accordingly on security matters in the country.
He said in an interaction with the media through his spokesperson, Issah Abdul Nasir at his residence in Tamale, today, February 11, 2021 ahead of the election on Friday.
Mr. Abubakari Sadik, one of the four aspirants in the Northern Region has pulled out of the race leaving Alhassan Andani, former Chief Executive Officer of Stanbic Bank, Alhaji Col. Mahamoud Tahiru, chief Zung-Naa and former Kumbungu MP, Hon. Ras Mubarak.
