Acting Upper East Regional Minister, Tangoba Abayage is urging the public to let ‘sleeping dogs lie’ on the “dog meat ” comment by Head Pastor of Desert Pastures, Eastwood Anaba.
In a Facebook post sighted by A1radionline.com, Madam Tangoba said, “Reverend Eastwood Anaba sent me a copy of his apology on the statement he made that’s been trending for a day.
I also spoke with him today. We discussed what has happened behind the scenes since yesterday. Reverend Atidoo’s name came up strongly in our conversation: thank you Fr. Atidoo”.
She is therefore calling for calm to prevail and not attack the Man of God for his slip.
“Long and simple and short, he could have put the joke a better way but he didn’t. Tells you how human we all are. But he never and has never intended to denigrate the sensitivity of us. Reason he has publicly apologized.
He’s used this pulpit for years, positively affecting the lives of people (including mine).
Please don’t let us sacrifice him on same pulpit.
Note: I’m not a fan of meat but when the dog meat 🍖 is ready let me know, I may just pick a bite!
