[VIDEO] – Two victims of Zebilla robbery attack discharged

The two men hit by stray bullets from the gun of the armed robbers that attacked the Zebilla Market on Monday, have been discharged.

Alhassan Bukari, a worker of Brazilian construction firm, Quieroz Galvao Limited on Monday afternoon got hit by a stray bullet in his right leg while working on the Zebilla township road opposite the robbery scene.

A “Mahama Can do” rider whose name was not known at the time of filing this report has also been discharged. He got hit by a stray bullet in the arm through the windscreen while riding towards the robbery scene on Monday.

The third victim, Musah Hassan, a form 2 student of the Hariya Junior High School, got killed by the bullet that hit him and has since been laid to rest.

Meanwhile the Upper East Regional Police PRO, ASP David Okyere-Fianko says two persons believed to be linked to the Monday afternoon armed robbery at the Zebilla Market have been arrested and are assisting in the investigation.

Checks at the Zebilla Market on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, revealed that many shops have been closed and owners are nowhere near these shops.

Owners of the few shops that have opened said they are trusting God to protect their lives and properties because they cannot tell when the market will be attacked by thieves.
